This Privacy Policy explains how Prodigitz Lab Ltd ("Zaptiz", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit zaptiz.com and when your organisation uses our products, Zaptiz Electrical (electrical.zaptiz.com) and Zaptiz Construction (construction.zaptiz.com). We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Who is responsible
For this website, Zaptiz is the data fiduciary. Inside our products, your organisation decides what business data it stores about its customers, vendors, employees and projects; we process that data on its behalf to provide the service.
2. Data we collect
On this website
- Contact and demo forms: your name, company, work email, optional phone number, industry, the product or topic you choose and your message.
- Technical data: our hosting provider records standard request logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) to operate and secure the site.
- Analytics: only if we enable a privacy-focused analytics service, which we will describe in the Cookie Policy.
In our products
- Account data: name, email address, role, hashed password, two-factor settings and sign-in history (including IP address and device) used for security alerts.
- Company data: company name, address, GSTIN, PAN and other details your organisation enters.
- Business records: customers, vendors, products, quotations, orders, projects, invoices, payments, documents, drawings and photos your organisation uploads or creates.
- AI usage: the prompts, files and outputs of AI features, together with usage logs used for metering and security.
3. How we use data
- To respond to enquiries and demo requests.
- To provide, secure and support the products, including sign-in alerts, fraud and abuse prevention.
- To run the AI features your organisation uses.
- To bill for subscriptions and AI credits.
- To improve the products and fix problems.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your business records to advertise to you.
4. Service providers
We use trusted providers to run Zaptiz. Depending on the product and features in use, these include:
- Microsoft Azure — hosting, databases and file storage (Central India region).
- Cloudinary — file and image storage for Zaptiz Electrical.
- Brevo — transactional email, including messages from this website’s forms.
- Anthropic, OpenAI and Google Cloud — AI model, embedding, speech and document-recognition services used by AI features.
- Google Firebase — browser push notifications for Zaptiz Electrical.
- Google and Zoho — optional sign-in, and Zoho Books when your organisation connects it.
- Razorpay and Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions, and for invoice payments through your organisation’s own account.
- Meta (WhatsApp Business) — messages your organisation chooses to send through its own WhatsApp Business account.
- Sentry — error monitoring, where enabled.
Some providers may process data outside India. We share only what each provider needs to perform its service.
5. Security
We protect data with measures including encrypted connections, company-level data isolation, role-based access, two-factor authentication, secure session cookies, encrypted storage of integration secrets and regular backups. More detail is on our Security page. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected parties of a personal data breach as the law requires.
6. Retention
Website enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and then deleted. Product data is kept while your organisation’s account is active. After a free trial ends, data is kept for 30 days. Backups and records we must keep for tax or legal reasons may be retained for longer.
7. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, and nominate another person to exercise your rights. If your data is held in a product account, we may refer your request to the organisation that controls that account. Write to privacy@zaptiz.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
8. Children
Zaptiz is a business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, notify account administrators.
